Dr. Hamid Hummieda Ahmed Hussien: I am Associate Professor at Department of Mathematics, College of Science and Art, King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia. I acquired my first degree in Econometrics and Social Statistics from the University of Khartoum (1992), and then M.Sc. in Statistics from Universiti Sains Malaysia (1998), Malaysia and PhD in Statistics from Sudan University of Science and Technology (2002), Sudan. I am a former (2007-2009) dean of the faculty of commercial studies, Kordofan University, Sudan and a head of the Department of statistic at College of Science, University of Science and Technology for the period (2003-2007). My researches have been on the area of statistics: modeling; stochastic processes, biostatistics, and epidemiology. I am interested in application of statistical techniques in safety researches, Gender researches and developing malaria early warning system.
